In recent years, I’ve enjoyed collaborating with Fox’s Pizza, a popular eatery located in Port Allegany, Pennsylvania. One of my most recent projects with them involved modernizing their video menu board to align with the restaurant’s newly updated image and branding.
Previously, the video menu board was a static digital display. To give it a dynamic twist, I integrated multiple video screens, which would transition between different displays every 30 seconds to 1 minute, contingent on the intricacy of the screen design and the number of products displayed at any given moment.
An innovative feature in the most recent update is the introduction of a seasonal screen. This screen transitions according to the different seasons, allowing the restaurant to showcase unique specials suited to each particular time of the year. Additionally, I embedded a QR code into the menu, enabling customers to swiftly access the app store on their phones for the purpose of installing the restaurant’s mobile app, thereby streamlining the ordering process.
Overall, this project was an exciting endeavor. It not only served to digitize their traditional printed menu but also enhanced customer engagement by visually presenting an array of delicious food offerings, consequently driving up food orders.
